How To Repair Corrupted Part

Have you ever downloaded many part file that have to be extracted ? Let's say you've downloaded all the part file.. and ready to extract it...but suddenly a deadly error message appear saying that your downloaded part file was corrupted? Well, that's something very annoying..But, don't worry there's a solution to it... :)

Step 1 : 

• Install WinRar if you didn't install it in your computer yet.
• Get it HERE
• After you have installed it, you will see some additional menu when you right-click your mouse on a .rar or .zip file [Extract Files / Extract Here, etc]
• For example I'll use this set of file:

• To start, right click ".rar" or ".zip" files that you want to extract, go to [ Extract Here ] and click it. 

Step 2 :

• Then, an error menu will be opened when an error occur. You can see a part that broken in this error menu.

•  For this tutorial, from the error menu it show that "TW.part3" , "TW.part7" and "TW.part8" was corrupt.
• Now, we know which part was corrupted, you can save the error log to notepad or you can just memorize which part was corrupted.

Step 3 :

• Next, open WinRar either by "double click" the file that you want to extract or from the Start menu [ Windows OS ]
• At the Winrar, select a part that corrupted, for this tutorial I will start with "TW.part3". At WinRar toolbar you can see Repair tabs [ it looks like a medic kit ], click it.

•  After you clicked it, a pop-up menu will be opened to ask the location of the repaired part should be placed after the repair process.

• After you have choose the location, click [ OK ] and click [ Close ] after the process was finished.

 Step 4:

• After the repair process finish, a new repair part will be created, for this tutorial "fixed,TW.part3" was created. 

• Next, you have to repeat step 2 and step 3 for other corrupt part, for this tutorial "TW.part7" and "TW.part8" will be repaired.

• After all the corrupt part was repaired, first delete the corrupt parts and then rename the repair parts by delete "fixed." for example "fixed.TW.part3" will be rename to "TW.part3".

Final Step :

• Finally, after renaming all the repaired part, you have to extract it again.

And that's it! Just as simple as that!
